Week 2 Quick Picks

I like to think I am an expert on all things sports, so here are my quick picks for every game this week. In the coming weeks GM and I are going to take 10 games each week and play a confidence pick em. Lets just see how good I do this week, just in case I am that bad, I can try to wiggle out of it!

So here are my picks, my fake confidence rating and a quick reason why I think what I do...

Green Bay @ Detroit: Green Bay (15)
-Detroit's defense is that awful. Lock of the Week!

Oakland @ Kansas City: Kansas City (4)
-Only because they are playing at home

New York Giants @ St. Louis: NY Giants (11)
-The Rams d is bad to but I don't think this will be a huge blowout

Indianapolis @ Minnesota: Indianapolis (5)
-I don't think Peyton will let them lose again although AP will have over 175 yards rushing

Cincinnati @ Tennessee: Tennessee (12)
-Even with Kerry Collins, it doesn't matter, their defense is GREAT!

New Orleans @ Washington: Washington (1)
-I just don't think that offense is that bad. My less confident pick. Upset Special!

Chicago @ Carolina: Carolina (10)
-They will stop the run and Kyle Orton isn't good

Buffalo @ Jacksonville: Jacksonville (6)
-I picked them to go to the Superbowl. They won't start 0-2.

San Francisco @ Seattle: San Francisco (9)
-Seattle has no wide receivers. Frank Gore goes off.

Atlanta @ Tampa Bay: Tampa Bay (7)
-Michael Turner will not have 220 yards again.

New England @ New York Jets: NY Jets (3)
-Home team wins. Game of the week!

Miami @ Arizona: Arizona (13)
-Warner is going to pass all over them and Pennington will not be able to keep up.

San Diego @ Denver: Denver (8)
-San Diego isn't over last week's loss yet and Denver's offense is good!

Pittsburgh @ Cleveland: Pittsburgh (14)
-Its going to be a lot like last week. Pittsburgh by a lot!

Philadelphia @ Dallas: Philadelphia (2)
-The defense is good and the offense will keep up even with those wide receivers.

The GM's Thoughts:

I like all your picks except one. We are pretty much even on this week. But you called Washington your upset special but I believe they are the favorite in that game. So it really isn't an upset now is it. And it just so happens that that is the only difference we have in our picks.

Verb's Thoughts:

I just checked www.vegas.com and as of 10 a.m. the Saints are a 1 point favorite. So it really isn't an upset but its the closest I picked so lets see how it turns out.
