Week 2 Is Upon Us

Today we get answers to our many NFL questions.

It is always hard to predict who is going to do what in the first couple weeks of the NFL season. Some teams are still in preseason mode for the first 2 games. And other teams are adjusting to injuries and aren't playing up to their standards.

But I will not be deterred. I am going to pick all 15 games in the NFL this week and I will also give you 3 fantasy players that you should play this week.

So...here we go (my pick in bold italics):

Tennessee at Cincinnati
Green Bay at Detroit
Oakland at Kansas City
NY Giants at St. Louis
Indianapolis at Minnesota
New Orleans at Washington
Chicago at Carolina
Buffalo at Jacksonville
San Fransisco at Seattle
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
New England at NY Jets
Miami at Arizona
San Diego at Denver
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
Philadelphia at Dallas

The games that were hardest to pick for me were:

Oakland at Kansas City because there is no telling which team is worse. And I am guessing that Kansas City is better with Damon Huard at quarterback. But Oakland may be playing for their coach today as Lane Kiffin is rumored to be getting fired this week.

Indy at Minnesota is obviously a tough game to pick. If Indy's run defense is as bad as it looked on Sunday night than they could have a tough time with Peterson. But I think Manning regains some form this week and carries the Colts to a victory.

San Diego at Denver may be a stretch for me. I am not sure if Denver is as good as they looked Monday night but with Brandon Marshall coming back and Shawne Merriman not playing I think Denver at home is a good pick.

Philadelphia at Dallas is just a good rivalry game. And honestly I picked this mainly cause I am an Eagles fan and I hate the Cowboys. And I need Donovan to have a good game and Barber and TO to bomb for my fantasy teams. But I really do believe that the Eagles are good enough to win this game. Both teams looked good in week 1 and I think this will be the premier game of the week.

Now for your fantasy sleepers. And when I say sleepers I don't mean Brandon Jacobs or Desean Jackson.

QB - Eli Manning (Giants). He is probably a backup in most leagues and unless I have Peyton, Brees, Big Ben, Romo, or McNabb, I am starting Eli. He is going up against a very poor St. Louis secondary and I expect him to have a big day. To the tune of 275 yards and 2 TDs.

RB - Julius Jones (Seattle). He is getting most of the carries against SF today with Maurice Morris out. SF gave up 4 yards per carry to Edgerrin James last week and I expect Jones to account for 75 yards and a score.

WR - David Patten (Saints). With Colston out he steps into the starting lineup and will be Brees go to guy on the outside. And I feel like the Redskins are the perfect team for him to play. They don't allow a lot of long throws I think Patten will make around 8 catches on hooks and slants and will finish with 8 catches for 70 yards and a score.

There you go. Call your bookie and set your fantasy rosters. TRUST ME!!
