Questions Abound for NFL Week 2

Tomorrow's games will try to answer numerous questions about teams in the early season.

It is always hard to tell from the first 2 weeks of a season on who is going to do what.

This week we have many questions that will hopefully be answered.

  • Did losing Jeff Saturday make the Colts just a pedestrian offense?
  • Is the Bears defense as good as they played last Sunday night?
  • Is the Bears running game that good or is the Colts run defense that bad?
  • Are the Lions really that bad?
  • Is Michael Turner that good?
  • Are the Broncos the team to beat in the AFC West?
  • Or are the Chargers still the team to beat?
  • Are the Raiders still one of the worst teams in the league?
  • Is Philly that good or was St. Louis that bad?
  • Is Cleveland going to do anything this year like last year?
  • Can the Redskins get any production from their offense?
  • Is Minnesota the same as last year?
  • Or is their offense going to help the D and score some points?
  • Can Matt Cassell play quarterback in this league?

There are many other questions to be answered this week or next.

A couple key games to watch:

Indianapolis at Minnesota:

Whoever loses will be 0-2 and in trouble in their respective divisions. Will Peyton Manning come out sharp or rusty like last week? Is Minnesota's pass defense improved enough to shut down the Colts? Will the Colts come close to slowing down Adrian Peterson?

This is probably one of the toughest games to pick this week.

So I will tell you my pick later.

San Diego at Denver:

This could be Denver's coming out party. San Diego is not going to be as good on defense as they were last year. And Denver welcomes back Brandon Marshall to an offense that racked up 41 points last week against Oakland.

Okay, I will make all my picks later.

New England at NY Jets:

Can Cassell do what Brady has done? He still has all the same weapons but can he get the ball to them? This could be the Jets division to win now so this is a crucial game to establish a pecking order in the AFC East.

Philadelphia at Dallas:

Probably the most exciting and most anticipated game of the week. McNabb is healthy and he looked very good against St. Louis last week. But is that a product of the Rams putrid secondary? We will find out Monday night.

I am going to look at all these games and make picks on EVERY NFL game tomorrow morning. Check it out then. I will also give you some fantasy picks that you may not have thought about. Seriously, you will want to see it.....see you tomorrow!
