You Wouldn't See That in the NFL

How can you not love college football? I don't care if you don't even have a favorite team. Do you like football? Yes...THAN WATCH THE COLLEGE GAMES!

The Texas/Texas Tech game on Saturday night was amazing. Especially the 4th quarter. Watching Texas come the whole way back from 19-0 was great. And then watching Graham Harrell and the Red Raiders offense take it back to them and win the game with 1 SECOND LEFT was incredible.

These kinds of games DON'T happen in the NFL. Name the last NFL game that was even CLOSE to this in excitement and action.

Seriously, I'll wait.....

Think of one?

Yeah me neither.

That's cause they don't happen. Sure you have good games like Tenn/Indy last Monday night. And yes the Super Bowl is sometimes incredible. Last year's was great and was close to the game Saturday night but not as good.

But typically NFL games are boring to watch. Don't get me wrong, I love watching, but come on...do you really think they are more exciting or even AS exciting as a college game?

NO....hell the fans rushed the field 3 TIMES!! Saturday night. THREE TIMES!!! When was the last time fans of an NFL team did anything like it?

The atmosphere, the emotion, the pride that the college athletes play with make the college game 10 times better than the pro version. There is no urgency in the NFL. None. Watch the game tonight, Wash/Pitt. There won't be much to really cheer about.

Now remember that feeling and watch the Oklahoma State @ Texas Tech game Saturday and you tell me the difference. There is NOTHING like a college game with everything on the line.

Two teams with National Championship hopes showed up in Lubbock on Saturday night and the favorite left as a long shot to get there.
