Podcast - Episode 15

Last night Verb and I did episode 15 for the Jumping Offsides podcast. It was a little longer than the recent episodes at almost 1 hour but it was probably our best show to date. There was some very good discussion on all the topics.

Speaking of Topics....here they are:

  • Should Utah get consideration for the National Championship?
  • Boston College and their head coaching situation.
  • Should fans be allowed to vote for All-Star teams?
  • Pittsburgh makes it to #1 for the first time in history.
  • Andy Pettite turning down $10 million from the Yankees.
  • Overtime rules in the NFL and potential solutions.
  • Matt Cassell getting franchised by the Pats....what does it mean?
  • Is Tony Dungy retiring? Should he? Is he a great coach?
  • Is Peyton Manning to blame for the Colts playoff struggles through his career?
  • Do teams that get the bye week in the playoffs truly benefit from it?
  • Do Bowl Games have ANY meaning anymore?
  • National Championship game talk
  • Previewed all 4 playoff games and gave you keys to the game for each game (and not something like stop the Panthers run game).
Like I said...it was longer than usual and we covered A LOT. Really this was probably the best episode. Listen by clicking the link on the right or subscribe through Itunes.
