So He Inhaled....Who Cares

Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps was photographed back in November doing something illegal on the campus of South Carolina University.


Turns out the 23 year old champ likes to relax by smoking a little marijuana on occasion. Which if you didn't know is illegal in this part of the world.

But is it really a big deal? Not to the business or sports world.

The big wigs on Madison Avenue have already given him a free pass by saying it isn't going to affect their endorsement deals with him. The IOC has said they support him.

Of course they do. He is still the only truly popular Olympic athlete in this country. Why would they risk making things worse for themselves by dumping him?

But the cops? Well that is a different story.

It is now being reported that the Richland County Sheriff's department is currently investigating the incident and could bring charges against Michael.

Really? Are the cops going to start going around and arresting everyone who has smoked some marijuana on the SC campus? Cause I think their jails would probably fill up pretty fast.

Sounds like someone is trying to make a name for themselves and capture their 15 minutes of fame.
